Information about QMequality Forum
Role
The Forum provides means of consultation and feedback on equality and diversity at Queen Mary.
Responsibilities
- to act as a consultative and feedback body on equality and diversity matters
- to make recommendations to EDSG on how College strategy, policy, process and practice should promote equality and diversity
- to review and contribute to Equality Impact Assessments as appropriate
- to act as a forum of discussion, sharing good practice and experience on equality and diversity matters
Membership
- Principal or Delegate - Chair
- Diversity Specialist
- Staff with expertise and/or interest in equality and diversity
- Staff from underrepresented groups
- Trade Union representatives
- Students Liberation Officers: Black, LGBT, Women and Disabled
- Students with expertise and/or interest in equality and diversity
