An Inaugural Cross-Institutional Forum for Race Equality in Higher Education

Professor Gus John will be the key note speaker and facilitator.

LGBT Staff Network - next meeting 7th February
The next meeting of the staff Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender (LBGT) Staff Network will take place on Tuesday 7th February. The plan is to go to a local restaurant to grab a small bit/drinks. If you would like to attend, contact Bertille Calinaud.

Equality Act
The Equality Act received the Royal Assent in April 2010.
This Act replaces nine major pieces of discrimination legislation with a single Statute. The Act introduces a single public sector equality duty which will cover race, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or belief, pregnancy, maternity and gender reassignment.
