Academic and Professional Development
The Queen Mary Academy works with staff and students to develop and enhance their practice in teaching, learning, and research. Our work is organised into three teams:
- Education and Learning – supporting staff to develop their teaching practice
- Researcher Development – supporting researchers to excel in their careers
- Teaching Recognition – supporting staff to be recognised for their teaching
Organisation and Professional Development works with colleagues to help to improve Queen Mary’s effectiveness in a range of ways, including:
- Providing development options around themes such as leadership and management, personal effectiveness, and team building
- Facilitating action around staff engagement
- Providing bespoke consultancy and support for managers and teams
