At Queen Mary we have an entire department dedicated to providing training and development for our staff. Within the Learning Institute site, you will find information related to professional development, staff induction and appraisal as well as details of courses available to staff, most of which are free of charge.  The Learning Institute is also responsible for accredited programmes in academic practice, developing researcher's careers and assisting staff with using learning technologies.

We also have an excellent range of IT training sessions which are provided by the IT Services Department.
