Agenda for change
This website will give you information on Agenda for Change (AfC) and how we have chosen to approach it at Queen Mary.Queen Mary employs many staff with links to the NHS. When the NHS announced its major reform of pay via AfC, we had to consider how this may impact on our staff.
As a non-NHS employer we are not obligated to introduce any aspect of AfC, but we acknowledge that we may be in competition with the NHS for certain staff. In order to attract and retain the best staff we decided to devise a method which would maintain consistency with AfC without adopting the whole system.
With the new pay and grading structure finalised work is progressing on the approach at QM.
