There are five recognised trades unions at Queen Mary; Unite, UCU, Unison, BDA, BMA

You may be assisted in your problems at work by being a member of a union or staff association. There are several recognised employee unions at Queen Mary.  These are:

The College's Code of Practice on Grievance offers mediation as an option that can be used to resolve conflict and improve relationships. However, in practice it can only be considered if both parties agree to seriously engage in attempting to resolve their dispute.
